Founder of CJJSDA – Sensei Preetam MUHEM (Chief Instructor)

4th Dan Ju-Jitsu Black Belt, Sensei Preetam MUHEM discovered his passion for martial arts in 1987 and since then he has been practicing traditional ju-jitsu. With 32 years of experience and knowledge in this art, he further developed his technical skills and for the last 14 years he is teaching traditional ju-jitsu to his students, both in Curepipe and Moka, Mauritius.

Sensei Preetam inspires and motivates people in practicing traditional ju-jitsu in order to help them, especially the youngsters, to think and act positively in any situation they may face in their life.  His personal goal after so many years of training and dedication to martial arts is to see a healthy society where people are physically, mentally and emotionally strong to face the challenges of life and to have a positive minded young generation. To this note, he will do his best to benefit his members from his knowledge and experience by guiding them in the right path.

“My aim of practicing and promoting traditional ju-jitsu in Mauritius is to increase the awareness of members of our society on self defence and inspiring the youth to think and act positively in any situation which they may face in their life. We must see the positive side of our opponents and traditional ju-jitsu not only help us to protect ourselves or others, but it shows us a way of life’.
